Butterflies(Infants 6 Weeks-12Months)
At the BUMC Children’s Learning Center, our infant room is a warm, nurturing environment designed to feel like a home away from home. Our dedicated teachers provide constant comfort and engagement by holding, talking, singing, and building trusting relationships with every baby.
We blend tender loving care with purposeful educational stimulation to support your baby's maximum growth and development from day one. By following your family’s unique routine for feeding, sleeping, and play, we lay a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Ladybugs(1 Years -2 Years Toddlers)
Our toddler classes are built around social, sensory, and exploratory learning. Each day offers a thoughtful balance of active and quiet play, creative art, music, and outdoor adventures on the playground. Our goal is to create a stimulating, loving environment where your child feels safe and cherished during their very first school experience.
Recognizing that this is often the first time children separate from mom and dad, our nurturing and active environment is specifically tailored to the unique needs of this age group. This is a season of tremendous growth, marked by rapid language expansion, early social connections with peers and adults, and the joyful beginnings of independence and self-help skills.
Dragonflies(2 Years-3 Years)
Our two year old classes are built around social, sensory, and exploratory learning. Each day offers a thoughtful balance of active and quiet play, creative art, music, and playground fun. Our primary goal is to create a stimulating preschool experience where children feel confident to discover, learn, and grow.
Children in this program spend their days in a nurturing environment specifically responsive to the unique developmental needs of this active age group. This is a time of tremendous growth, marked by rapid language expansion, meaningful social connections with adults and peers, and exciting steps toward independence and self-help skills.
With the loving guidance of our experienced teachers, every child’s cognitive, physical, and social development is enhanced and enriched during this crucial stage of early childhood.
Bumblebees(3 Years-4 Years Preschool)
Our three year old preschool classes provide hands on opportunities for children to explore foundational concepts in language, reading and writing readiness, math, science, and creative arts. Blending teacher developed thematic units with child-guided choice play, our classrooms are filled with purposeful, joyful learning every single day.
To further enrich our curriculum, students enjoy a variety of engaging special subjects alongside the trusted Abeka framework, ensuring a well rounded and exciting early childhood experience.
Grasshoppers(4 Years-5 Years Pre-K)
Pre-K is a year of tremendous growth, discovery, and excitement as children deepen their understanding of the world around them. Using a Christian based Abeka curriculum, our program is designed to promote the whole child fostering spiritual, emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through rich, diverse units of study.
With an expanded focus on literacy, handwriting, and early reading preparation, children dive into written language alongside integrated subjects like math, science, and social studies. These thematic units help 4s and young 5s connect classroom learning to real world experiences.
To ensure a well rounded foundation, our Pre-K curriculum is further enhanced by a variety of engaging special subjects.
***Pre-K Schedule: Full-time enrollment, Monday through Friday.***
Extracurricular Activities
In addition to our daily schedule, we offer several exciting extracurricular activities! Our students enjoy P.E. time on Thursdays and Fridays (weather permitting), and every Monday, Ms. Lauren one of our church members visits to read to each individual class. During the hot summer months, the kids love cooling off with Splash Days, and we also feature a regular Music Hour with the Music Minister of Buda UMC. We have so much to offer here at Buda UMC Children's Learning Center!
