OUR PROGRAMS
Infant
(6 weeks-12 months)
In our BUMC Children’s Learning Center infant class our teachers will comfort your baby while holding talking, singing in a quiet reassuring voice, and by making contact with him/her. At BUMC CLC, we provide our babies with an environment filled with lots of love and the educational stimulation our babies need for maximum growth and development. Through playing singing and talking to our child, we are providing the foundation to learning.
Electronic reports are sent daily, detailing your baby’s developmental activities including his/her eating, sleeping and diapering. Parents can message teachers throughout the day to check in on their little ones. We follow your baby’s individual schedule for feeding, sleeping, and playful interaction. Our goal is to create a home-away -from-home atmosphere by honoring our family’s routine as your child develops trust in his/her teachers and surroundings.

Two days a week (T/TH): $500
Three days (M/W/F): $650
Five days a week (M-F): $1,100
$100 Supply Fee will apply

Toddler
(12-24 months)
Our 6 weeks-12 month old classes are based on social, sensory and experimental learning. Each day consists of a balance of active and quiet play, art, music, and playground. The goal is to create a stimulating and loving environment in which our youngest angels feel safe during their first school experience.
Children in this program spend their days in a nurturing and active environment that is responsive to the unique developmental abilities and needs of this age group, realizing that this is often the first time these young children have separated from mom and dad. This is a time of tremendous growth in language understanding, social connection with adults and same-age peers, and the beginnings of self-help and independence skills through discovery. With the expert guidance of our experienced teachers, each child’s development will be enhanced and enriched during this critical period of cognitive, physical, and social growth.
Each class will have lead teacher and an assistant teacher with small class sizes.

With the loving guidance of our experienced teachers, each child’s development will be enhanced and enriched during this critical period of cognitive, physical, and social growth.

Three Years
Three year old classes provide hands on opportunities for children to explore cognitive concepts in language, reading and writing readiness, math, science, and artistic expression. Teacher-developed thematic units, as well as child-guided choice play, lead to days filled with purposeful and engaged learning for 3’s and young 4’s.
Our curriculum for the Three Year Old Classes, is enriched by a
variety of special subjects.

Preschool
Pre-K is a year of tremendous growth and discovery. Children continue to build on cognitive and social skills, while becoming increasingly excited to learn about the world around them. The curriculum is designed to promote the child’s total development. Integrated into our diverse units of study are activities and learning experiences that give each child the opportunity to grow in all areas: social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive.
With the expansion of our literacy and handwriting curriculum
programs, Pre-Kindergarteners begin examining written language in preparation for reading. Subject areas such as math, science, social studies, and literacy are integrated into thematic units that enable 4’s and young 5’s to make connections with previous experiences and classroom learning.
Our Pre-Kindergarten curriculum is enriched by a variety of special subjects.
